Kookmin University
국민 대학교

Overview

Kookmin University offers four well-maintained, enclosed tennis courts.

Surface

Dirt. (but not the dirty kind)

Pros

There are four courts, and they are all well maintained. Two of the courts are lit during the night. There are seats available for spectators and an umpire seat at each court. You can rent umpires from the university, but they are expensive. The courts are well spaced and surrounded by a padded fence just in case you lose control of yourself after going for those wild Nadal-like shots.

Cons

-The courts are available for public use, but students have priority.
-The lighting schedule is not posted. (They do stay on until 11:00pm some nights.)
-Kookmin University is not easily accessible by subway.

Extra Info

Although not a requirement, it is a good idea to know how to play tennis before playing tennis here.
