Table tennis is one of those sports that is rarely, if ever, best played outdoors. However, if you are looking for where to play table tennis in Seoul...or Ilsan...then this is at least one option. Not far from Ilsan Station on the Gyeongui line, this table tennis table sits in a small, quaint park that sits between a small road and railroad tracks. It sounds loud, but it is not. It is actually a quite nice setting.
Artificial turf. Grass fields are rare in Korea. Artificial is the next best option. No complaints here, as the school keeps it well maintained.
-The table, net included, is kept in great condition.
-There are a number of chairs nearby for spectators.
-Night games are possible thanks to great lighting.
-As long as the wind isn't blowing, it is a decent rainy day activity as the table is positioned under an awning.
-It is outside. Table tennis is just not meant to be played outside.
Bring your own balls and paddles. You won't find any here.
