Overview
Visiting Seoul Olympic Park is probably the main reason most visitors to Mongchontoseong Station pass through its gates. For that reason, the view greeting everyone upon leaving exit 1 is quite rewarding.
Mongchontoseong Station provides immediate access to one of the finer parks in Seoul, Olympic Park. The station's name, Mongchontoseong (몽촌토성) is in honor of the nearby ancient earthen fortress that Olympic Park was built on. Thanks to Olympic Park, Mongchontoseong Station is one of those stations that provides enough entertainment for the entire day.
